Picnic by the Vienna Symphony Orchestra

A musical homage to Vienna and the Prater! Just in time for the start of the holiday, the Wiener Symphoniker invite the whole family to a Prater picnic in front of the spectacular backdrop of the Wiener Riesenrad. Pack a picnic basket, spread out a blanket and enjoy musical highlights from operettas and musicals to Wienerlied and pop with free admission. Under the musical direction of Dirk Kaftan, the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, soprano Vera-Lotte Boecker and baritone Rafael Fingerlos trace the Vienna World Exhibition of 1873. Also present is a flagship of contemporary Vienna: singer-songwriter Voodoo Jürgens!
