A fascinating world awaits visitors and guarantees entertainment for both young and old. Full of turbulent roller coasters, spooky ghost trains and attractions of all sorts - there is hardly any other place in the world to challenge your senses in this intoxicating way. Time flies here while spendind a few pleasurable hours with your family, enjoying the Prater highlights or just having dinner with friends. Have fun and enjoy – this is the Prater's motto!
These corona rules apply from September 15th in Prater
- 2,5-G-rule: Proof of PCR test, vaccinated or recovered for all persons over aged 12. (ATTENTION: Antigen tests are no longer accepted)
- 3-G-rule: Proof of being testes, vaccinated or recovered for all persons from 6 to 12 years. Antigen self-tests are no longer valid. An antigen test from an official test facility is still accepted for this group of people. The Ninja-Pass is also valid for primary school children on weekends, provided that all three test stickers are present in the pass.
- FFP2 mask compulsory in all indoor areas, if no 3-G proof is required (e.g.Madame Tussauds, kingdom of railways, toilets, etc.),
- Registration in restaurants obligation remains.
There are still two Covid-Test Boxes in the Vienna Prater available. One on Riesenradplatz and the other one at Wurstelplatz. There, free rapid antigen testst are offered by trained staff on presentation of the E-Card. The antigen rapid test costs EUR 25,-- for visitors without an E-Card.
Additionally there, free PCR-Tests are offered by trained staff on presentation of the E-Card. The PCR-Test costs EUR 35,-- for visitors without an E-Card.
Attention: The evaluation takes up to 24 hours.
The test boxes are open daily from 9.30 A.M. to 8.00 P.M. (the opening hours may vary depending on the weather).
The operators of the attractions and restaurants in the Vienna Prater look forward to your visit! In addition, attention is expressly drawn to the assumption that visitors are responsible for their own health and that of others.
